How a Fornace Ballatore brick is born
Work begins with the selection of the best clays which are properly mixed and handcrafted by expert brick makers.
The mixture obtained from clay and water is manually introduced into the countless moulds that Fornace Ballatore has collected over the years. These moulds are used to give the brick the required profile before being left to dry.
The drying process takes place naturally or artificially depending on the type of brick. Then the brick is baked at 1030°C in a computer-controlled tunnel kiln.
The baked bricks are then subject to a manual selection process before being packed.
The scruples with which every single production process is carried out guarantee exemplary quality.
The bricks, roof tiles and flat tiles produced by Fornace Ballatore all feature the singular nature of handmade elements, representing elegant, original, pleasant and indestructible construction materials.
They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
When necessary, it is possible to make pieces to measure, design or sample.
